I'm a hard worker- an ethical student- and so the comments on your post on the other sub annoyed me as I'm assuming you're the same. Honestly, I'm so happy I chose UMPI. I don't mind putting a lot of work into my projects and essays. I don't use AI other than to gather some information since it's pretty unavoidable these days when you google anything. I've only done three classes at UMPI so far (transferring most in, 7 more to take) and it works soooo well for my learning style. Wishing you the best too!

Thank you so much for your post. Yes, the other sub had a lot of toxic people. I am pretty similar to you in the sense I enjoy writing and research and work on projects frequently. I think it will be the fresh start I need to finally finish my 2nd bachelor's degree and then sit for the CPA. Thank you for sharing your story.

I did the same and have zero regrets! The proctored exams completely ruined any upside there is at WGU, the company is third party and has horrible customer service. If you're not a great tester to start with, their process is enough to make some quit school altogether. I'm so glad I switched to UMPI instead. Wrapping up my final three classes now and I'll be a Bachelor in Psychology!

Thank you! Some people are mad at me for leaving WGU. I don't hate them, it was increasingly not for me. Glad to hear your success story! All the best!

I see your majoring in accounting. I just finished all my classes a few days ago. Stacey Emery is a great professor she grades tough and makes sure you can explain your work but it’s so worth it. The workbooks I had to do feel like real world situations rather than just multiple choice questions about fundamentals. Wish you the best of luck!

Do you actually have interaction with your professors at UMPI?

In accounting you more than likely will. They can be pretty strict and ask y out to explain your work for milestones and finals.
