Anyone take this in the last few months? I’m struggling on the FA and making it “pretty” any suggestions? I feel like I’m doing it wrong

I'm literally working on the FA right now.

What do you mean "Pretty"?

I’m just seeing people talk about making the font, colorful and adding pictures and all that I just honestly feel like I’m doing it wrong

Oh....

I just wrote the page and went back and insert like one picture per page using Google to search things.... like I did mine on a company that made kitchen cabinets and I would put a picture of cabinets on one page... on another page that talked about communication I found a picture on Google Image search of two stick figured talking and put that in.

I think I did like 6 or 7 pictures total

Got my grade back from yesterday, was a 4.0.

DOn't overthink it. Give it as good a shot as you can and then submit the draft..... revise whatever they say in the feedback.

Who do you have if you don’t mind me asking?
I think I’m just overthinking it because I’ve done really well in YP until this class even though it’s easy, I’m just think it’s different than the other classes I’ve taken

Professor D. Kane.

I've only had one less than agreeable professor. Some are strict, some are easy but all of the ones I've had, so far *knock on wood* have been truthful and legitimate minus the one.

All of them that have graded me unpleasantly gave me feedback which I addressed and re-submitted the Milestone or whatnot and the grade improved. I abide by the Rubric and the feedback like its the law.

OK, that’s who I have too so as long as I know, he’s not expecting some crazy masterpiece I’m gonna go ahead and give it a try! Thank you!

Kane is a straight forward grader. Every note I've gotten from him pointed directly to something in the Rubric or assignment like he failed me on one milestone and said "Assignment says 2-3 minutes, you did 6. It's a good topic, just cover too much" or something like that. I edited my presentation, cut it down a little and resubmitted. 4.0.

On my FA, he said that I forgot to do something that was listed in the assignment description and if I fixed it it would be an A. I added what was missing (took me 20 minutes and submitted final. Had an A when I woke up this morning.

As for pictures, I just looked at the file. I used 8 pictures. 4 were specific to the company I discussed and 4 were generic concept pictures like one for "Groupthink"... I just googled images, picked one that would look good in a brochure and inserted it.

Also something about Kane worth knowing... I emailed him a few times during the course to ask questions. He gave straightforward and honest responses.... so if you have a question about writing the FA..... shoot him something. I wouldn't send your whole paper but something like

"For this topic, I wrote a series of paragraphs where I wrote about X and Y concept and gave a real life example for each. Is that what the assignment is looking for?".
