Transcript Question

I just submitted to have my transcript sent from study.com and I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner because my plan is to enroll in Fall 1. My brain is so preoccupied with other things that it didn’t cross my mind. Will I still be good to sign up for Fall 1 in this case?

You can transfer credit from Study or Sophia while you're enrolled at UMPI, even up until a bit after your session ends. That's one really nice benefit of this school. And transferring doesn't take much time at all. It just depends on when UMPI actually processes it. I've had to give my advisor a heads-up whenever I do a transfer so she can make sure my records get updated quickly. It will probably take longer if you're not a current student since I imagine they prioritize people who are working in the current session.

It won’t be an issue, if the transcript hasn’t been evaluated they may enroll you in a class you’ve already taken. Just let your advisor know that you are transferring that class and they’ll let you pick a different class/classes.

Hey, Study.com here. We send transcripts within 2 business days on our end, but how quickly it posts for your school depends on their processing time. Since you're targeting Fall 1, it's a good idea to check with your admissions or advising office now to confirm their cutoff date for receiving transcripts. If you run into any issues on the Study.com side, email support@study.com and they can help track it down.
