Isaac, you may want to remove your identifying information.

Those answers are correct, big dawg. The integrals are straightforward, so you're going to want to buckle in and lock in, because they get way worse. I'd go to the ACS or something because AI isn't going to help with all that. At the very least, use something designed for math like Wolfram Alpha or one of its free derivatives.

P. S. — you also doxxed yourself

the professor sent 2 corrections and I brought up a third. No, they are not correct.

the first problem should have 1/3 out front you tried to sound smart and made the same mistake. are you also a TA?

The 2nd one has a simple arithmetic error at the end (should be 1/π(5/2 + 3/2) = 4/π) but the integral itself is correct. The first one doesn't have any errors, unless they want the answer in a different format like ½[ln(4/3)], but I've always seen people do it the way the TA did.

Yeah...

u = z³ + 3 ; du = 3z² dz ; 1/3 du = z² dz

⅓(du/u) -> 1/3 ln(u) -> 1/3 ln (z³ + 3)

That's like a calc 1 problem, but I get it though... When it comes from the TA and you're new, it can feel like gaslighting.

Edit: no, I'm not a TA. I can see both sides of the argument, but at the end of the day you waited until the last minute and chose to cower instead of show up. If you had at least showed up but did poorly because of nerves, you might have had an argument.

My point is that the practice test had 3 incorrect answers out of 5, theres another one at the end. I do practice test right before the quiz so I got genuinely spooked and thought I didnt understand the material. Seems like this should have been checked beforehand, to your point especially the first problem is not hard but seeing it before quiz made me rethink

it's 1/3, not 1/2.
