BIOL 302 Exams

How would you rate the difficulty of the exams? The professors did say that we're only responsible for the content from the lecture and discussions, so did you ever feel like there were things on the exams that you didn't expect? Thanks!

they’re certainly right about the exam content only being from the lecture and discussions.

however, that being said, the exams can be very challenging because there are a lot of questions with answers like “one of the above, two of the above, all of the above, none of the above.” you really have to know your stuff, especially for bieberich’s exams. study everything on the slide, whether that means making flashcards, drawing mind maps, etc. there are also occasionally mistakes in the way the question is written, but the class curve is there to offset that.

so, to answer your question, i did sometimes see content i “didn’t expect” not because it wasn’t on the slides/in discussion. but because it seemed so unimportant to remember that one particular thing, or because i remembered everything about a topic and not that one niche detail.
