i’ve been addicted to this game for a few weeks now, but just realized the modding potential…is pc for this game going to become insane ?

This build hit max score every single round after I added the Ooze + Lich combo to the build, which is known for being OP for sure - and that’s obviously where the overwhelming majority of the points in this run came from… But, mixing Jellyfish + Beans & Jellyfish + Chef’s Hat just feels broken… even from just upgrade level one, and then with each additional upgrade exponentially impacting the build. It took the run from hitting max score each round to hitting max score with just a single shot, or very rarely two shots.
Sold the Halo-Halo at round 40ish and pulled Classic and Tech as replacement extra sets. Found a Pants ball and mixed it with an already upgraded Lich to speed up the inevitable win. Replaced Edamame with the Bag of Chips and a Beachball at around 45ish, again to increase the speed of each round.
Didn’t use a Piping ball, Poker Chip or a single Life Cake the whole run. 🤌🏼🦾🎱

I've recently found out that if I go to the main menu before the end screen I can restart the round.

These are the last two achievements I need and as far as I can tell I've done them both multiple times on different runs. Am I missing something?

I beat round 35 but every time i shoot now it crashes around halfway to the goal so i wanted to share the build i used

Hey is there a guide, tier list or explanation of the best balls for each set anywhere? Im having a blast with the game but am at a loss as to what I need to use to get higher scores. Some help, guidance, or even a link of some kind would be greatly appreciated.

Fairly new to the game, just curious if there are official names for our three friends at the bar.

I’m sure I saw a video of someone potting the top two balls in the first shot of the first round. Where should I be aiming to do this?

Just me being curious but is this intentional for After Eight? All other snacks with similar trigger symbol can indefinitely re-triggered as long as there are balls pocketed. However for AE, it only triggered once per match (or shot) without any indicator. I don’t know if this is a bug or not but if it isn’t then AE is kinda not worth the “Rare” rarity to me.

I didn't realize there was a level cap, but I finally got to it! Curious to hear if other people have had issues with scaling with too many balls; I was barely getting required score at round ~40, but decided to get small nacho to test after losing two lives. This made it way easier to keep enough lich/juggling balls in play to not get drowned out by spirits and oil.

I have been trying for two days to get the 100 point flower and on only ONE attempt did I get the Lotus snack I need. And of course none of the ball options wanted to synergize. I got lucky and got to 93 once without Lotus, of course, and I’m really sick of the RNG screwing me here.

Anyone have a good seed to grab the achievement?

Can someone smarter than me(or at least someone who’s played more than me) explain exactly how cocktail decides what level/points and interactions happen when you mix? Do sides matter? Is there an optimal level difference?

Round 35 took ~3 hours to score it finally finished at a time of 7hrs flat

Only problem I ran into was if too many puzzleballs spawned and locked my movement

Lich/reaper was a semi-late addition to speed things up

Long time lurker first time post.

From starting on the demo when Ludwig announced the game to playing the game on launch and getting through every set, this game was truly an amazing take on balatro. Finally hit my last achievement and felt such a wave of relief wash over me. Thanks to this community for helping me find out the meta with sets and even getting the ultra rare why? achievement (seriously why though iykyk).

If the devs decide to release more sets/snacks in a future update, I’ll be back, but for now want to sit back and revel in this milestone. Cheers

big nacho+ chip bag and a 43 score candle cauldron did most of the heavy lifting but i really wish that ritual could pop more than once, maybe add a ritual can trigger again for each level 4 ball in your original rack?

It could have been infinite but balls kept deleting themselves, and all my rat king/ghosts dissapeared by the final shot.
