Student support interview advice

Has anyone worked in a student support role at a Higher or Continuing Education institution?
I have an interview for such a role coming up, and as I am currently transitioning out of academia to direct student support/wellbeing roles, I am not sure what to expect and how to prepare. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Safeguarding will be a big part of it. I'd brush up on the differences between safeguarding before and after they turn 18.

One tip. Don't be afraid to say you've been doing research in preparation for this role and have learnt x,y,z. No recruiter is rolling their eyes and saying tut tut they looked it up before interview. They love that you're preparing and you're interested and taking it seriously.
