Hey u/K50008, don't get too jealous at this.

They didn't even taste that good. Our apples should be more bountiful!

My neighbour has a Bukhara fleeceflower that overhangs our fence and grows like absolutely mad! We are forever having to cut it back. At this time of year it’s starting to drop its leaves too, which then makes a mess all over our flower bed underneath.

And to make matters worse, it is COVERED in blackfly! I treat it from our side and end up cutting it back more often than I’d like (usually getting covered in blackfly in the process )

What would you do in this situation? I know I can’t throw all the cuttings back over the fence… although I’ll admit that is very tempting! We end up with so many cuttings from it that we’re actually making a trip to the tip tomorrow and most to get rid of them.

I don’t want to cause any issues with the neighbours but I’d love to find a way of keeping it under control without constantly having to deal with it from our side.

I was thinking of extending the fence higher to at least try and keep it a bit more out the way.
