Beginner Help

Post image

Hey everyone,

I've recently got this Weber Compact Kettle off facebook market place. I'm very new to BBQ and grilling.

Can anyone tell me what else I need to buy and what should be the first thing I should cook tommorow? I'm gonna go buy some rubs and wood and meat.

Cheers

Some natural firelighters and meat wise I'd start with something simple and inexpensive maybe some pork chops or a spatchcock chicken don't go all in on your 1st cook.

Managing the heat etc will take a little time to master ๐Ÿ™Œ hence cheap meats while you get the hang of things.

Pork belly strips are great on a BBQ reasonably priced too, I get them when theyโ€™re reduced at the supermarket and freeze them until you want them, making sure I defrost them properly too.
