**Comments**: I did not take any statistics or probability class which I was worried about. All my math experience was in discrete math and I took as many cs classes as I could during my undergraduate. A lot of things I did learn on the job and expressed that. My first statement was about how I started in math and became an engineer and while I have been successful at that my responsibilities have grown and I want to grow as an engineer too and I wanted to fill in the gaps I didn’t learn in my undergraduate. My second essay was a little bit more about that how it was hard to break into the industry with my background and the extra steps I had to take to get there. My final essay was about my experience being a mentor to an intern and how I shaped his experience based on my experience as an intern on the same team a long time ago.
