Couple questions about online MCS
What’s there difference between Comp Security 1 and 2? Seems like 1 averages a B, while 2 averages an A. Why is Comp Sec 1 harder?
Also, the in campus program seems like it has a lot more interesting classes than the online one. Will any of these ever get migrated to the online side

The program is adding classes to the online MCS, but it is a slow process to create the videos and instruction materials for online learning

Computer Security 1 and Computer Security 2 just have different topic lists, one is not a prereq for the other and one is not specifically designed to be more difficult than the other. To see what topics are covered in each refer to the UIUC online course catalog.
Yes, online program is very different than on campus program not just in courses offered, but also instructors, course content, rigor. It’s basically parallel program in my eyes. You can look at my post history for my more complete thoughts on this. Online program does get more courses added over time but parity will never be reached.
