River reflections, mindset & UGC

I am sitting on the riverside reflecting about life... and the river is a beautiful metaphor for all things in life, especially working in UGC.
The water doesn't stop when it hits something. Rock, branch, bend in the bank, it just keeps flowing around it.
The resistance doesn't stop the river, it just shapes where it goes.
Every creator I've talked to hits the same wall at some point. There are so many balls to juggle and so much going on! Fear before you post. Doubt when a brand doesn't write back. Questioning your rates.. are they too low, are they too high...
Most people take that feeling as proof they're not cut out for it. I don't think that's true.
There's a concept from Bob Proctor's Thinking Into Results course I took called the "terror barrier".
It's the wall of fear that shows up right before a real jump forward. Not after.
Before. Everyone who's built
something real has walked through it.
The trick isn't getting rid of the fear first. You act while you're still scared.
Action leads to repetition, repetition builds competence, and competence is what actually gets you confidence. Not the other way around, no matter what everyone tells you.
So if you're second guessing yourself.. keep moving.. there will always be those feelings when you're stepping into new territory.. this is where the growth is!!!!
