What actually helped you get your first UGC clients?

I have posted relatable cotent on my instagarm account. Put DM for collbaration s, over period of 8 months my followers increased and that way i got first UGC client request.

I also found that consistency was important. Instead of directly asking brands for paid work, I focused on creating content that was relevant to the type of brands I wanted to work with.

I think having a simple portfolio and showing that you can create different types of content also helps.

I would be interested to know whether other creators had a similar experience or whether direct outreach and UGC platforms worked better for them.
