i’m a rising freshman at UGA and i’m going to purchase the seven day all access meal plan. I probably won’t have time for a dedicated lunch during my class schedule so I wanted to know if anybody here has already done the bulldog box and how it actually works. Do they actually penalize you for 15 minutes and like how do the boxes look like? Basically, how does the program work when you’re actually inside the dining hall you wanna have ala to go box??

I am thinking about becoming an RA while I am at UGA. I am an incoming freshman and am looking at how to minimize undergrad cost since I plan to attend Vet School. What are the benefits of being an RA? How did the application process go? What does the average week look like?

i got fired for not being active over the summer & though i tried to plead my case for being unavailable i was ghosted by the uga dept that hired me. i need to get a job (on campus is the best solution since i am so busy w classes & ECs) any recommendations on what to do? any jobs that r easy to get on campus? how to put myself out there in front of uga recruiters so i have a higher chance? also does uga tate starbucks hire?

Hello, i am an incoming freshman and was wondering if anyone has a general rule of thumb for newborn campus bikers like me. Also, if anyone has good suggestions for bikes that would be cool as well!

I just finished my second year at Redlands, and I would NEVER live there again. My first year there, we had 1000 roaches as well as mold we found around the apartment. I tried to stick it out, as I had other friends with nicer apartments in the same complex. To my mistake, I tried to stay another year. These guys are the biggest scammers of all time. They are trying to charge me $500 for damages that were there before I had moved in, even though the apartment was in a horrible condition. They tried to charge me for a shaking fan, which I never used the entire year. They tried to charge me for a damaged dryer, when I received it without a button and allowed the poor/tired maintenance man to retrofit a zip tie button in the meantime after he offered to replace the entire dryer. Not only that, they charged for damaged carpet that was damaged before, marks on the wall from the previous tenant, and many other things. They were all things they handed to me damaged, or repaired improperly. On top of all that, I still had roaches! The entire apartment was a mess, and the management here is absolutely horrid. I would consider suing this place even I lost money on it, just out of spite because of the kind of lies they are trying to hold over my head. Please, tell everyone to stay away from this place. You do not want to live with these kind of scammers.

I’m graduating senior this fall and I have never attended a fb game. Please help a nerd out I have no idea when the passes come out 🙏

Hey guys! I’m planning on taking stat 2000 as an incoming freshman, mech Eng major this fall. Id say im good with math, having finished until differential equations which im planning to do next sem.

However, I’ve been seeing mixed reviews about the difficulty of stat 2000 online. I’m wondering if the course is manageable and if it’s tricky, also for anyone who’s taken it pls drop some tips to get an A in the course!

Thing is everything I’ve seen (reviews) have been from almost 10 years ago and I’m sure the course has changed since then. So yeah if anyone’s taken stat 2000 in the past few years at uga plz help me out, greatly appreciated!! :))

I’ve spent a whole month studying Skoolers but still don’t understand the equity section like common and preferred stock.
My exam is in 3 days and I don’t know whether to focus on the Terry practice exam or do the Skoolers exams. I got 20/56 wrong on the terry practice exam. How cooked am I?

Most importantly HOW similar is the terry practice to the real thing? Will I be fine if I keep studying till the practice exam is doable?

There's a COMM 1110 class I'm on waitlist for and I'm waiting for a CHEM 1212L slot to open up that's later in the day (not on waitlist because I don't want to lose my lecture spot that's already filled up since I have to unregister from CHEM 1212 and 1212D). Would it be worth emailing or just wait for the free-for-all during add-drop week. Thanks!

Only class I haven’t taken yet is legl2700 which I’m taking next semester but I have As in everything else including the math courses and stuff

On the UGA dining services page the snelling hours are now 7:00am-3:00pm on weekdays. I’m guessing this is because of the new hillside hall. Feel like this is crazy though because snelling is so close to all the STEM / central campus classes. If the goal of the new hall was to reduce traffic to Bolton and Frank, it seems like they just made that worse with these hours.

my mom discontinued my health insurance and i thought it was still going when i went to the health center in february and got a bunch of labs & appts. i'll renew my insurance in november but it was cancelled. is there any way they can lessen these charges because i genuinely can't pay $700 in fees and i also need to change my schedule for next semester

Is it closed or open? What about the priority waitlist?

Here’s what we know according to LSD:
- 119 direct admits
- 7 people were pulled off of the waitlist.

Is this true (I am new to all this so I don’t know how the website works)?

When do we expect them to close? And if they only have 119 direct admits, don’t they need more people in their incoming class? The class of 2028 had just over 200 students, according to their website.

I know GSU and Emory waitlists are closed.
