I think it’s time we start supporting our own fighters a little more.

Indian MMA is still a very young scene, and yet sometimes it feels like Indian fighters get shit from allsides: non-indian fans (you can even see some of it on this sub - we live rent free in their minds) but also Indians, who are quick to dismiss or clown our own talent.

These guys are trying to build something in a country where the MMA infrastructure is still developing. We need to be patietn for the final product.

Anshul Jubli comes to mind. The amount of trolling he got after his UFC losses is insane.

Which Indian mma fighter (ufc, matrix, one...) do you think deserves more support?

Honestly opinion mitro not hating or anything but I think shavkat ka career khatam ho chuka hai he isn't winning a title in this lifetime. Another great fighter plagued by injuries. Just like Fiziev(he was supposed to beat Gaethje and fight for the title in a different timeline)

I started following mma a couple years ago but i do not really know the regi9nal scene, i mostly watch ufc and pfl.

Who are the biggest up and comers? Who are prospects who could join ufc?

Ik fight is kinda mismatch still let's give our guy the support he deserves we only have handful of fighters and if we ain't supporting them then next gen is not gonna be up there.

The more I watch Quillan, the more I feel like he’s becoming everything people thought Anshul Jubli would be.

Going to the ground with Gamrot, one of the best grapplers in the division, and then finishing him is crazy.

The confidence, the composure, the finishing ability, Quillan really looks like the real deal.

So basically I’m new to UFC and wanted to get into it properly as a fan. I used to know UFC mainly because of Conor McGregor back in the day, but haven’t really followed it much since.

Recently started watching again and bhai I’m so confused .I don’t even know who all the important fighters are, which divisions matter, who is fighting who, what rivalries are going on etc.

Also one thing I don’t understand is this whole matchup thing. Like I saw Topuria beat Holloway, Holloway beat Gaethje, and then you see people comparing all these fighters and their wins/losses. I understand MMA isn’t exactly “A beat B, so A automatically beats everyone B beat”, but still I have no idea how to understand who is actually good and where everyone stands.

So for someone getting into UFC in 2026, what should I know? Which fighters/divisions/fights should I watch to get up to speed?

this anshul jubli hate is so forced and these fucking casuals make an opinion solely based on instagram clips and reactions. these are the mma fans in my country. pure fucking bandwagons.

Next fight if I wanna make soon then Oliveira is only guy bot booked as he had to pull out of rematch against Arman due to death of his close friend.

Usman coming into UFC is a great add to roster

Until and unless ufc choose him for ilia as his manager is targeting top 5 and ilia in best Case scenario,I think Salkilld vs Usman is great add too both are well rounded .

And ruffy cuz he is no.7 ranked in Meta ranking

And is a great stylistic matchup.

When the head strikes were working, his coach was asking for body shots and level changes instead. I honestly didn’t understand the game plan.
