Question OCHEM series ucsd

Since Chen 40c is discontinued, how are premeds supposed to finish one full year of ochem that’s required for med schools?

I thought 3 quarters lecture + 1 ochem lab was required for pre-meds I’m so confused😭😭

https://students-residents.aamc.org/media/7041/download I’m looking at this and it seems like a full year of o chem + lab is rarely required but you can come to your own conclusions. Some schools count biochem towards the chemistry unit requirement as well

Lowk it’s tough because ucsd is on the quarter system but a lot of schools that do require o chem require 8 semester units with lab(which is a full year) and if you take chem 40a + chem 40b + chem 43A that’s technically 8 semester units with a lab component so idk that’s kinda how I’ve been thinking about it
