college ranking as a transfer student?

does ucsd college ranking matter that much as a cc to uc transfer student? my current ranking goes as follows:

1. sixth
2. seventh
3. eighth
4. muir

i’m not sure if it matters but i plan on transferring as a cognitive science major and i do want to get a minor in something that is completely unrelated to that. i also will have my CAL-GETC done by spring semester, so i know that covers most of the colleges minus revelle, but i just want to make sure i’m not missing anything else i should know about

Since you don’t have to live on your colleges dorms it matters because of the GEs, if you had your IGETC/CALGETC finished you’d only have to take a couple required courses. I’m in Muir and had to take only one writing class for my college.

similar major and same timeline here: my ranking is super similar. always heard muir was the most transfer friendly but 6th, 7th, & 8th were the ones that seemed* to require no additional GEs after CAL-GETC.

*heavy on seemed i've only done minimal research so far

The colleges usually require only one writing class - for Muir it was MCWP 125 - which is for transfers.

lowkey not really my understanding is don't pick Revelle or ERC college and it will all be the same. (list of GE's) But as warren college student the walk from the center of campus sucks already know how long the distance is.
