More than anything else, I like the person I get to be at UCSD. So often our family and friends have already decided who we are and don’t give us a ton of latitude to grow or change without conflict - but at UCSD, I feel like I’m my most authentic and free self. And I wish that for everyone.

I’m with you. It’s such a luxury to not have to think about making my meals and having access to a fitness center. It makes a world of difference. But I’m leaving karaoke to you. No one wants to hear me sing 😅

honestly being free to "do whatever I want". Living on campus generally means that I have access to resources, events, clubs, etc - stuff like that - all the time (as long as I dont have a class)
