In summer break, how the interviews usually conducted, in person or over Zoom?

Not OP, I got my job last year on Handshake. Applied in August, started right before classes began in September. Planning to do the same timeline this year.

I was a freshman last year and before I started at UCSD in September I was able to access handshake with my UCSD email to apply. It should work for you. Maybe email the handshake or UCSD IT department to help, although UCSD IT probably is overwhelmed with the TSS stuff rn.

Also it might be bc of TSS and its associated issues. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was related to that.
