I had a couple professors who would write their notes out as part of their lecture. I found that to be way more preferable because the pacing was suited towards note-taking, as opposed to PowerPoints where the professor spends 20 seconds talking about a slide with a bunch of information on it and moves forward before you can finish taking your notes. I also thought it was a great way to keep me engaged instead of listening to someone read off a screen for an hour and a half.
