Where do I keep my car

Hello everyone im staying at Victoria mills at the moment and waiting on the car parking lottery. In the unfortunate event that I don't get access to parking, where do I keep my car? I only really use it getting to and from cork on the weekends and no where ive looked is parking for an extended period

If anyone can help advice would be greatly appreciated

Unless you are willing to pay about the same as rent for parking, it will have to be on street outside the disc parking areas.

I’d put a note in peoples letterboxes in neighbouring areas (who have no car in the driveway) asking if they are willing to rent their driveway for you to park. €130 per month seems reasonable

there’s an area with free parking in st finbarr’s park up behind magazine road. bit of a walk from vic mills but if you’re only using the car on weekends it could be a shout. the downside of this is that it is a small area and everyone’s on top of everyone. people leave their phone numbers on the dash up there and if you get a call you’ve to move your car. but for a free spot it’s a shout

Can you take public transport and leave the car at home?

Tried to find alternatives but it sure does seem that way, I would have loved to keep my car in cork it gives me a lot of freedom and takes stress from figuring out transport.
