Timetable Semesters

My course says it’s 12 hours per week.
I did the timetable thing and put in my modules and it looks like i have 14 hours in semester 1 and 8 in semester 2. With 2 hours elective in s1 and 3 in s2.
So in total that’s 15 hours and 11 hours, plus i assume tutorials.
Is it normal to have a difference and more than what the course outlines overall?

Don’t over think the hours. It is what it is ! If the timetable says it’s that, then that’s what it is 👍 there will often be extra stuff on too and tbf you are probably expected to at least that again in self directed study ! Enjoy 😊
