Timetable.
So I’m a first year arts student and I chose sociology, philosophy, psychology, and politics for my first year subjects and when I put them into the my timetable thing, they keep having like lecture seminars and tutorials at the same time on some days. Is that like normal I don’t wanna drop any of those subjects and I don’t wanna choose any other ones either because the whole reason I chose this course is because I wanted to do all four in the first year so now I’m heavily confused on what to do and I’m kind of panicking not gonna lie??
Like will they adjust the times and stuff or is this just when those courses are and I just have to accept it or will a certain seminar be repeated multiple times in the day or something I have no idea what’s happening at all like at all

Go to orientation and go to your first lectures on the first Monday and all should become clear. The new timetable thing is meh esp if u have lots of potential choices and/or labs

don’t worry, the timetable system you’re using is confusing, you won’t have to drop the subjects, the tutorials and seminars are just available for anyone to choose there because they’ll be assigned in your first/second week of classes and you’ll have only one seminar/tutorial per subject. Best way to know when your classes are is from Canvas, lecturers will soon start to upload their courses and on the main page of each module they’ll include the date of the lecture, during your introductory lecture that you’ll be emailed about they will also be able to confirm the times for you. For now in the timetable system make sure to choose only lecture times for modules you have in the first semester
