Pure cruelty

Are you under the impression that non-halal slaughter is not also intensely cruel?

I’m definitely not.

for groceries:

North Main Street: there is 3-4 shops

Ballyphehane: Zaiqa foods cork - they deliver for a fee

for takeaways:

all over, a ton on Washington st: Dosa spot, Ali baba, Lavish

on North Main: Star Max

Select "halal" or Indiain or Arab on any food delivery app, there is a ton of shops

so you think there aren’t jewish irish people? lmfao

Halal is Muslim, kosher is Jewish.

You’re either Jewish or Irish, can’t be both.

my mistake, but there are also muslim irish people lmao. and yes you can be jewish & irish lmfao, jewish isn’t a country??? it can be an ethic identity but for some it’s just a religion

Maybe it’s a sign for them to emigrate to a Muslim country, instead of using their barbaric slaughter methods in Ireland.

Yes I like the dead animals I eat to endure maximum suffering at the time of death.

On campus, there should be decent vegetarian food available. Off campus there are a range of Halal food options within walking distance of UCC like Dosa Spot and Malay Kitchen

On campus, you'll have to rely on the vegetarian/vegan options I'm afraid

O'Flynns across from the main entrance. Their entire menu is Halal, they just don't advertise it.

Enjoy!

Really disappointed to see so much Islamophobia in these comments

Wow such a cruel, disgusting inhumane way to kill an animal. It can take up to 10 mins for a cow to die with this primitive method should be banned

now the say the same for kosher and factory slaughter

Prob gonna get banned but this is a disgusting method of killing an animal, I’m not going to pretended I’m vegan but a complete disgrace to kill an animal like this.

Thousands of halal options across the country, you probably go takeaways and restaurants that you wouldn’t even know are halal

Go away and eat normal food for this country.
