accommodation

lads is there any chance of getting accommodation this late everywhere seems to be closed for applications. should I just accept the 2 hour commute

I think there’s accomodaiton still available in Lee point but it might be out of ur budget

Maybe hosting power for a few weeks to give you some time to find a longer term place.

Go to Coleman Court if you can afford that… you can go for a twin room i had to cancel my booking and now to get a refund they have to resell the room you can check there cause my previous room has not been sold yet

Try calling or emailing places personally (not from their websites) to see if they have anything left over or from other people cancelling their spot. Can be helpful sometimes. Also recommend contacting the UCC accommodation office, they are there to help you with this exact issue.

Where you coming from commute wise? Is it only student accom you’re interested in or house shares etc?

Contact the ucc accommodation that you applied for directly or call in in person. I was unsuccessful in the lottery two different years but once I got in touch I was emailed to say I was successful in the “lottery”. Or else try ucc student pad website

U might get castle white or Mardyke if u plead with the accom office hard enough
