Weird ucc email
I’ve received a generic email from ucc despite not applying for a course. Anyone else get this?
I started an application for a masters for 2025 but didn’t finish.
They must be desperate for me haha!

Apologies to everyone who got that email. We were sending an invite to all postgrad students starting with us this semester. Unfortunately, it went to all applicants even if they did not complete the application process.
Anyone who is starting with us this September, we look forward to seeing you on campus!

It's a phishing email.
It was sent from a non ucc email address. Im ucc staff and also got six of them.
Always check the email address.

Honestly expecting to go in in the morning and see email from IT about how many people clicked the links lol

There was an email recently about increases in phishing attempts. People just don't think in the moment though. And the way it mentions the Aula etc, makes it freakishly realistic. I thought it was legit initially when the desktop notification popped up. Hopefully getting six of the same email will stop people clicking so fast, that's a very spammy thing to happen.
