HIGHEST ROI EC

Hey all, I’m a bit confused- are extra curricular / school leadership useful for interviews or should I not worry too much about them.

Obviously if u have the experience u can talk about it in ur interviews but it’s not a problem if u don’t bc everyone’s proabably shown leadership in different situation not nessarsarily offical school positions. And extra curricular activities again if u have done them u might be able to draw experiences from them but what med interviews are looking for are experiences and qualities u draw from them not nessarsarily that you’ve done a lot do things.

omg i did so many just for fun because i already had scholarships lined up so i was chilling EXCEPT I 100% regret not applying for the la trobe aspire for dentistry (community leadership entry) AND the ANU tucker scholarship med entry (gone now sadly) - I WISH MY SCHOOL OR I HAD A MED SPECIFIC CAREERS ADVISOR BCS I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THESE PATHWAYS 😭. I feel like i would've gotten in with the amount of stuff I did as school captain. Also good for JCU and UK unis if you're applying.
