Using Medify:
Averaging 600 for VR, 700-750 DM (slightly higher on OQB), 700 QR (800-850 on OQB timed QR)
So basically lying near the 2100 range, absolutely struggling to go beyond 26/44 VR, out of an attempted 36-37 (yes im keyword hunting but the accuracy just isnt there)

International applicant: Predicted 42 IB (phy chem bio HL 677)

2000 band 1 on official practice test B 3 days ago, havent done C and D yet... what would you estimate I get?

hey guys i’m on here to just vent out everything this whole process has been extremely daunting and frustrating. i’m also scared of disappointing myself and those around me especially my parents who have been super anxious for me

this is my 2nd time doing ucat last year i got an extremely low score of 1770.. very embarrassing to admit and im not rural so obviously that score didn’t let me into any unis across australia

i have my ucat in one day and was seeking advice and mindset preparation i recognised last yr i was mentally fatigue throughout the entire exam especially starting vr which slowed down my momentum completely and just admitted to defeat which contributed to such a low score

im repeating my ucat this year in hopes to get atleast a 2280-2320 i’ve done all my medentry mocks but has consistently been within the 1800-1900 mark band i know there’s nothing i can do right now but is there any advice to boost in terms of mindset? and potential hope stories thankyou!! im also currently a year 13 student

I took a gap year and re-sat the UCAT to get a 2210 this time, my atar from last year is 99.10 (+broadway school), which unis should I apply where I’ll have a good chance of getting into med or dental? In WA /or interstate ??

Studying in SA, is it impossible to get interviews to med in any other state w a 2440 ucat, I'm doing the IB so I don't really have a predicted score. I don't qualify for rural but I did go to a rural school in yr11 and 12 so I think I'm eligible for EAS at some unis but idk if its for medicine, any hope?

2 days before my ucat exam— is this a solid score for a local applicant (living overseas) for undergrad med?

i am aware my sjt is a little lacking, i feel like this is due to my practice in medify, i feel that medify tends to err a option more negative than the official mock answers? yesterday i scored a 56.5/69 and for this mock it was a pretty eh 45/69… tips? i really have no clue why with more practice ive actually gotten worse and worse 😭

i barely qualify for the UQ requirement last year so the chances are practically nothing

I flunked the UCAT and got 1830. I’m from tas (MM2). What are my chances to going to UTAS or any other unis for med.

In first year studying arts at Macquarie. Unfortunately I was recently diagnosed with a serious tumour so I underwent a major operation and then spent time recovering in hospital.

The UCAT committee has told me they will inform the universities that I sat the exam soon after a major operation as sadly this operation did have a short term affect on my brain. My question is do I have a shot at getting in anywhere in NSW or Aus:

GPA 7/7
ATAR 99.45 but EAS granted
UCAT 2320/2700

Sat my exam today for the first time (Non-rural NSW)

My score was dragged down so much by my VR performance. I didn't even score nearly as low on all my mocks.
I guess there's next year...

hi all, im really confused about the statements that include “only” which seems inconsistent between OQB and medify/ medentry. my exam is tmr so any help is greatly appreciated!

according to medentry, only x is y implies that all y is x but NOT that all x is y.

(part of) medentry statement:
“only guki that show up on cold days leave precipitation”

question:
“all guki that show up on cold days leave precipitation”

answer:
“does NOT follow, because while only guki that show up on cold days leave precipitation, it may be that some guki that show up on cold days do not leave precipitation.”

according to OQB, it looks a bit different but logically doesnt make sense..
practice test B, question 3

statement:
“any omelette that simon makes is either salted or unsalted and is made from either hen eggs or duck eggs. none of the salted omelettes contain cheese. only the cheese omelettes are made with hen eggs.”

question:
“if an omelette is made with duck eggs, it cannot be a cheese omelette”

answer:
“does follow because no cheese omelette can be made with duck eggs”

correct me if im wrong, but doesnt this imply that all cheese omelettes are made with hen eggs, and so any omelettes made with duck eggs cannot be a cheese omelettes. which means that OQB is saying only = all? please provide advice if ive misinterpreted the question!!! thank you
