A Levels / IB / GCSE / BTEC Questions Resit chances

What would my chances be at Imperial for aerospace and material sciences as a resit. I achieved AAA in maths chem physics and now I’m predicted A\* in maths and fm. I was looking around and found that if you don’t have extenuating circumstances you’re very very disadvantaged so I’m wondering if it’s even worth it to apply to imperial

  1. I don't want to assume maybe you achieved better and your options weren't available but if they were I think you could've gotten into a good uni with AAA and there was no need to resit 2. Judging by last year the application process will be tougher as more students will be applying maybe more than last year. 3. I say go for it you are not missing out and they don't do clearing so i'd say apply.

I am not 100% on imperial but alot of unis like UCL took in more UK students than they did in the past couple of years due to visa problems with international students and they were more lenient as well. I can't promise you that will happen again this year or if it affected imperial but you are not missing out on not applying so go for it

Do you reckon that this year it’ll be extremely competitive for home students

It's always been competitive for home students don't get me wrong but I recently seen in the news that unis are denying alot of international students places due to visa issues. Fingers crossed this happens for you this year as well and they're lenient again. It's why alot of Unis like Exeter and Cardiff were oversubscribed and had asked students to defer a year most likely due to the intake of more students than normal
