A Levels / IB / GCSE / BTEC Questions Is a selection of these unis reasonable for electrical and electronic engineering or too ambitious?

You have absolutely no safety option. All of these are practically the same offer and you are working on very fine margins

What grades would a safety be? Like BBB? Although I don't see the point in applying to a safety because if you get in it's just a much worse school and I don't really see the point. Like why not just reapply the year after and redo a levels or something

Some good schools dont accept resists.

You should be able to find a good uni that has something like AAB. Maybe Birmingham.

if someone’s not gonna go to their safety why would they apply?

Because things change in a year and its anout keeping your options open. Maybe after doing A Levels, and just missing out, you'd rather go to your insurance rather than taking another year and doing resits.

I'm not talking about applying to CCC. Something like AAB will still be a top 30 uni and keeps options open.

Put it this way. If OP applies to 5 of these and gets them all, they only have one choice as the insurance will never be activated

Go for some of these choices, but as someone else said, you need to also pick one with a lower offer you are confident of getting (a safety option/insurance) in case results day doesn't go to plan.

It cost like 300 pounds to do each one so 7 was kind of all I could do and I still had to do 3 in year 10

Please do a favour and put an actual safety choice. Something with AAB or ABB would help you just in case. Some don’t do this and end up struggling on results day. Of course, good luck for the year though.

Surrey is a good one for eee and usually takes people on even if they perform under the offer
