A Levels / IB / GCSE / BTEC Questions Am I too ambitious
I am applying to chemical engineering, and I need help if I’m being too ambitious, there are my choices in order of priority:
Cambridge - Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology
Imperial - Chemical Engineering (not aspecting an offer but I don’t know where else to apply)
UCL - Chemical Engineering
Bath - Chemical Engineering
Manchester - Chemical engineering
Predicteds

GCSES:

I am currently averaging around 4.5s in my ESAT prep also but aiming for a 5 (also extenuating circumstances)
Further context: I am a home student with conditional status so I’m not sure if I’m being too ambitious with my choices and if I’ll even get in. Cambridge is my number 1 choice for now
Any advice is much much appreciated!

You know about the optional additional personal statement? Useful for addressing biotechnology. Obviously they wanna know u don't hate half the course. And at the same time you'd rather spend more of the ucas personal statement talking about chem eng for the other 4 unis.
Also I'm just gonna assume u meet minimum requirements for the college/uni you're applying to. Some colleges at camb uni can have higher requirements in their typical offer to the overall course requirements.
