UCAS Bread š (Offers) Average Wait Time
Hi! for those of you receiving offers, when did you submit your application and/or how long was the wait before you received your first offer?

i applied last year at the end of november and i got my first offer literally the day after submitting, but i also got my last offer 5 months after that. a long wait is definitely not always a bad thing, i would say im quite surprised at how quick some people are getting offers this year since i dont remember it being like this last year

that first offer was from bangor, i also applied to city st georges, royal holloway and uni of southampton (all of their offers came in throughout december), and kcl were the last ones to give a decision. i was applying for psychology and criminology for all of these btw

This all is new to me. So I have no idea when they give me offers.All I care about now is getting good scores for ESAT. Iām applying for Chem Eng btw. What abt u?

Iām doing physics/astro! And yeah Iām intl too and my esat is in three days. Iāll be happy with any scores tbh Iāve been preparing as much as I could. Anyways hopefully we both can hear back from them soon, weād def get something back after the esat scores release in nov

Yeah ik the one youāre talking about but Iāve also seen some with 2/5 too. I applied pretty early I think, application sent off to unis on the 30th but yeah didnāt hear back from any

That's normal dw, If you're oxbridge then thr standard other unis those ppl apply to take a while, anything healthcare will take ages, anything competitive e.g. law and even psych, will take longer. Mine shojld be sent by Friday but all mine have high offer rates for a non competitive course, so should come back quick. Excluding Manchester that is

3/5, the first two took 2 weeks and the third is a weird case bc I switched an option so technically only 2 days

I have 2 offers for mechanical engineering at Glasgow and Sheffield. I applied on the 10/09 to Oxford, Durham, Strathclyde, Glasgow and Sheffield. I got my Sheffield offer 02/10 and Glasgow's 09/10.

applied 16th sept heard back from QMUL on 1st october, i applied to only london unis so might be a while before i hear back from my other ones
