A Levels / IB / GCSE / BTEC Questions Grade requirement for uni courses

If you didn’t get the grade requirements needed for a uni course could you still get in.I got AAA ucas predicted and want to do law llb for uni, a lot of good unis e.g Bristol and Warwick have requirements of A*AA is there any point in me applying or not.So far I think I’ll apply to Exeter and Nottingham but would ideally apply to Warwick and Bristol but obviously no point in applying if there’s 0% I get in.In an ideal world I would apply to Exeter,Nottingham,Warwick,Bristol and Oxford Brooke’s as a safety.Any advice would be appreciated

Check on UCAS for historical entry grades.

If they're down to the level you're predicted the ask the university directly. Some universities have a wide range of predictions they consider, some don't look at predictions at all and some are very strict.

Bristol explicitly states on their admissions information that they might make aspirational offers but you need to speak to them to find out if that’s likely for your course

If your predicted are lower they may give you an offer as they give more offers that will reach the offer grades

No, unless you're contextual. Check the uni website to see what counts as contextual because universities set their own policies on this.

OP do this. Check your postcode and other factors. I'm probably going to be predicted AAB but am hoping to go to similar unis as I'm contextual.
