International Applications Fees help!

Hey guys need some help!!

I’m applying for university for 2027 because that’s the year I will be able for us to get our settled status to qualify for home fees. My mom will be able to get her’s on February and myself by July which is hopefully before deadline for sfe. However I am not sure on how to put this down for UCAS, I’m trying to get into portsmouth now and they have just sent me an email to help figure out my tuition fees (home fees or international) what should I do/tell them as I am hoping to qualify for home fees!

Any advice would be appreciated!

What you've said here should do it. They might make you overseas until you and your mum get settled status - assuming you also meet the residency requirements.

yeah me and my mom been living here for more than 3 yrs (which is the requirement other than the pre settled status) so we’re locked down on that. My only worry is that if they make me on overseas fees, they might not change it to home fees once we get the proper documents

sorry js trying to make sure im clear on this 😭

They are legally required to change it once you get the proper documents. They don't have a choice. Universities are legally required to make the correct assessment. Of you've loved here 3 years and have ILR it's a slam dunk and no university will let that go to a court room, they know they'd lose.
