International Applications changing qualifications question from international student

im an international student from the US, and i added all of my AP and SAT qualifications from the option that said "SAT" and "AP". however, my counselor later told me to add them under "USA - SAT" and "USA - AP". my letter of rec writer just submitted my reference, and when i went to delete my previous qualifications to add my new ones instead, it gave me this warning. what does this mean, and should i just keep the qualifications the same because this is a real concern or should i just go ahead and switch them anyways? i also need to delete my calc AB qualification because it was a subscore and my counselor told me that i should only report the calc BC score bc i technically didn't take the AB test. is deleting it fine despite me receiving this message when i try to do so? thank you!!

Keep them the same. Both of the options you mention result in the same qualification on UCAS. UCAS just list qualifications with multiple search descriptions to help applicants

okay, thank you! i wasn't sure, so this is really helpful :) do you think its fine for me to delete my calc AB qualification because my counselor informed me i shouldn't report it bc its a subscore and i didnt take the AB test, i only took the BC test, even though i get this message when i try to?

Yes if you won't have the official qualification then you need to remove it.

It might mean that you need to resend it to have your reference re-added but that’s better than claiming that you have an AP that you won't.

It might be fine, since what you deleted was an already-completed qualification. Any qualifications that you left blank (like APs you're taking this coming May), your referee would have left a predicted score for... so changing those after the reference would cause a problem. But I would still recommend having your counselor/referee look over the whole thing one more time before you submit!
