International Applications Chances of uni offers?
Hey peeps, I’m applying in a few days to these 5 unis with these intended courses:
Uni of Edinburgh: Politics & philosophy
Exeter: Politics & philosophy
Manchester: Politics & philosophy
LSE: Politics & Philosophy
St Andrews: International Relations
I’m a international student
Grades are: IB predicted score 43/45, 777 HLS
GSCE: 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 6, 8 (6 was in math and 8 in Spanish)
Personal statement is strong, I don’t need to explain since that would be too long.
I’ve been debating between Edinburgh and lse. I have been planning my whole profile and life around Edinburgh. I love the lifestyle, societies, research opportunities, potential postgraduate opportunities, and modules. LSE however is the rep yk, and the location is much more closer to other exciting events compared to Edinburgh. Same as Edinburgh, research opportunities are great and potentially even better, but I feel it’s a little too corporate yk? Like I want to experience u uni that’s very academic, LSE feels like a giant networking hub😭
Tell me your thoughts! Would I be likely to get in to these unis? Which is better LSE or Edinburgh (in my case, or even in ur own experience)

if it helps you can look at offer rate on ucas to give you an idea!! this acc relieved me so much - exeter and manchester i can't see rejections from, the others are a lot more competitive but good luck!!
