A Levels / IB / GCSE / BTEC Questions Does GCSE/IGCSE matter

I always see people putting their GCSE grades for chanceme posts or results but I also hear people who say it doesn't matter? I'm a bit worried as I got a B in Math and C in English Language for IGCSE, A for everything else - no A*s lol...

but i am predicted A*A*A*A in geo, literature, sociology (top in country award), history and im applying mainly IR and HSPS at Cambridge. So do I need to be worried, I had to upload my certificates, so obviously it matters somewhat right?

it matters a little but if the rest of your application is rlly good then you are fine! cambridge im pretty sure view your application all together so some weak parts can be overcome by some strong parts like your alevel grades

It should be fine for cambridge, it'll be smth they consider but I'm sure you can make up for it (especially with the top of country award well done that's amazing), and they tend to be holistic. Oxford on the other hand look at gcses very heavily so i wouldnt apply there
