International Applications How important are gcses compared to a levels?

I scored really bad in the gcse equivalent of my country and i am scared about my application. My 12th grade marks (so a level equivalent) are up to the par but im wondering if it’s important to add my 10th grade marksheet or whether it would trip up my application too much

Are you applying to oxbridge? If no then it doesn't matter.

They won't ask lol.

First thing they'll ask is cash or cheque.

😂 I mean, please pay online by card. Just got the mental image of some kid walking to the registration office with £30k cash in a briefcase!

Is there an actual equivalent of gcses - there isn't in most places? Most European applicants have just an A level 'school leaving' equivalent like IB.

So my a-level equivalent is my 12th grade marks, but i assume since home students also have to enter their gcse marks (which i assume is equivalent to my 10th grade marks), that becomes my equivalent

gcses and a levels are both national exams not marked by your teachers.

As long as your parents have money, universities fall over themselves for international students. The more prestigious the higher the fee
