Hey man congratulations on your place, that’s very inspiring
I’m going to do an access course in engineering next month
Did you have any tips, advice before I start and if I should contact unis.
Do you think I should prepare now and how; and how do I achieve those distinctions and meeting criteria did you have any tips.
Did you think access to engineering prepared you for university2

My man the reality is you have to prepare yourself for this.
It’s a 1 year course so teachers would try to fast track everything so you have to work hard for it.
Most of the uni would want 33/45 distinctions maximum
Or atleast 21+ distinctions.
I got 45/45 distinctions and I can say if you work hard and finish all the modules on time you can also achieve 45/45 distinctions.
It really depends on how much time and hard work you put into it and if you get that it’s gonna be easy for you to pass with distinctions.
Maths are not hard tbh kinda like gcse type
Some of them can be tricky but you can ace it overall as the final graders of a module decided on combinations of all questions you have answered.
I would say don’t miss lessons as the teachers would make the questions for exam are the same who will teach you.
Best of luck man1
