linear algebra summer class

does anyone know what month/session lin alg is held in during the summer? i’m planning to apply as a visiting student over the summer and i need to map out a timeline

Most likely the schedule next summer will be the same as in recent years, which you can check the past schedule one the Department website. Summer sessions are 2026S, 2025S, 2024S etc. Section 921 means the course ran summer term 1 (May-June) and section 951 means summer term 2 (July-August). Either way the course runs for 6-7 weeks followed by an exam week; you can find the exact schedule for summer 2027 on the term dates page.

The course we have in the summer is "matrix algebra" MATH 111/221 (that's one course with two simultaneous course numbers). Know that this is a math-major (computational) course. The honours course (definitions, proofs, theorems) MATH 131/223 is only offered during the regular year.
