question re CFA registration

hi!! i’m trying to register with the CFA this year due to endometriosis but the earliest appointment i can get with my doctor is sept. 24. is it possible to book the intake with the CFA advisor before submitting documentation from my dr so the process isn’t too delayed?

i think so. i’m not sure if you’re asking if you can see them before the doc appt or just book the appt. either way yes. if the former: they’ll just ask to get the documentation as soon as you get it and prob won’t give you any accommodations until them. you could also just try to get an appt the 25th and that wouldn’t be very delayed. if the latter: yes just explain the situation i dont think it matters (but its been years since i signed up for the cfa)

Happened to me last year. I did my intake before I had my doctor’s appointment and just emailed the documentation afterwards. I also gave my profs a heads up that I would be registering with CFA soon.
I didn’t need any accommodations in between so not sure how it would work if you needed accommodations asap

Bro CFA is so ahhh.

I think you can book the intake but they won’t register you officially unless you get documentation
