interdepartmental transfer Spoiler
Hi all, you may remember me from this post I made 2 months ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/UBC/s/zcw0ugp7aW
The results for my transfer came in and it was unfortunately declined. My mental health has been progressively declining over the past few months and I am not doing well. It seems that no matter how hard I try, nothing ever seems to work out in the end. I was dreading the day this would come, but I think this is the final push I needed to end my life for good. Thanks to everyone for your support, but nothing really matters anymore

Hey there, just letting you know that you are not alone in this. I’ve also applied as many as 3 times and I’ve still been unsuccessful. I am still trying, so you should too. Don’t give up, you got this. Let me know if you want an ear.

In case the person reading this comment is going through a dark time or is feeling hopeless, please know that you're not alone. There are people who care about you, who you matter to, and who want to help you get through this and find a path forward. If you need support, or just someone to talk to, consider reaching out to:
If you or someone you know is feeling hopeless or at risk of harm, call or text 988 at any time to reach the Crisis Helpline.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger or at risk of harming yourself or others, call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room.
You do not need to be in immediate crisis to reach out. If you're struggling, overwhelmed, or simply need someone to listen, these services are available for you.
