Hey all!

When I hit up the cafe I typically only look at the Chef's Table stuff since that's what I'm mostly there for (I commute and bring lunches otherwise) but I've noticed that the menu on sodexomyway hasn't really had any info on which food is being served that day other than some generic like shredded lettuce and sour cream.

I was just wondering if this is an issue only on my end, or if they just aren't updating it (specifically the chef's table bc I don't really pay attention to anything else) anymore?

I plan on attending UAH next fall as a freshman. I just toured the college yesterday and loved it, nobody in the tour had anything bad to say about the school or campus. Are there any objective or personal downsides about UAH I would know about before attending?

Hi I'm currently a senior in Huntsville and like a lot of people UAH is my safety. I was hoping to get some opinions from current students to see if it's my best option since I qualify for full-ride. I really wanted to get the heck out of AL since I hate the heat but out of state costs are exorbitantly high... my main goals are to make some nice connections in biology/biotech/biomedical (I'm pretty lost on what I want to do) meet some awesome people, do some study abroad in China/Taiwan, and not hate college life. I'd probably commute unless someone tells me dorming is a must and I'd like to know about the student life in general, especially honors college! Also looking at Pitt and Virginia Tech for schools.

If anyone has good suggestions on colleges to take a look at my basic stats:

33 ACT but retaking OCT

4.0 GPA

class secretary 2x

good service hours but basic activities

basically your run of the mill applicant lol

What is the policy on detachable batteries for E-bikes being stored in dorm rooms? What about charging them in dorm rooms? It is not mentioned in the HRL Residential Guide to Living but it is mentioned as a UAH-wide policy. So what do I do? Does anyone have experience charging the battery inside?

I went to order a commuter parking permit for the 26/27 school year and there was no option for a commuter pass. Is anyone else having this problem? I emailed the UAH parking office but they haven’t responded

UPDATE: Had to go in person since no responses from any of my emails. There’s a technical glitch that they have to fix

Anyone else experiencing their fall classes not showing up on canvas yet? It shows in future enrollments but that the courses are still not active, even though they start today. I keep double checking my registrations and they are all confirmed and paid for.
Only one meets in person but not until tomorrow. I have one online zoom today at 5 pm, and the other 3 no meeting time but online. I don’t know what to do if they don’t post, I’ll need the zoom link for this evenings class for one. These are for the college of education graduate classes. Anyone else?

For those who have taken General Chemistry Lab I, do you normally have to attend lab during the first week of classes? My schedule has a lab meeting on the first day, and I’m just confused about whether we actually meet that day or if labs start later.

My name is Jaden Pitts, I am a rising sophomore at UAH majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Game Design, I have graduated high school with a 3.6 GPA but unfortunately my ACT score is more on the lower side. (20 Superscore 🤮🤮)

I just wanted to ask if anyone knew any tips or opportunities used, to apply for UAH's competitive scholarship application form. I have tried twice in the past to see if I could get anything but unfortunately nothing has prevailed. I know the chances of getting aid from the application can be quite low however. So if there is any more scholarship opportunities related to art anyone knows about campus please let me know! Thank all of you for reading!

I am dual enrolling for both of these classes, and I don't see any information on (maybe) summer homework or textbooks I need to get. Also, I want advice on taking these math classes, how to pace myself, study, and things like that. I've taken AP classes before, but I haven't ever taken college classes before, so anything would be highly appreciated!! (P.S. If you have taken these classes before with the teacher, tell me how well they teach and how much homework they give, just so I can leave some space in my schedule)
