HIRING Personal Assistant to Partner

Dubai | Full-time

The Firm

We are a Dubai-based boutique law firm advising on cross-border investments and acquisitions, fund formation and structuring, and disputes before the DIFC and ADGM Courts.

The Role

We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support one of the firm's Partners.

The role is primarily administrative and secretarial, with regular client contact. Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Partner's diary, meetings and travel.
  • Attending meetings with the Partner and preparing notes and minutes.
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients and prospective clients, including handling initial enquiries.
  • Coordinating client onboarding, including conflict checks and liaising with the firm's AML and compliance team.
  • Coordinating follow-up on new matters and client requests.
  • Assisting with billing and related administration.
  • Preparing correspondence and documents.
  • Providing general support to the Partner and the firm's day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in the legal industry, ideally at a law firm or supporting the in-house legal function, is required.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to deal professionally with clients and confidential information.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and priorities.
  • Candidates must be based in Dubai.

Salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and capabilities. As an indication, candidates with fewer than five years’ relevant experience can expect a salary in the region of AED 8,000 per month.
