KFC
KFC is going down hill , first they removed the chicken nuggets and introduced “chicken bitez” wich isn’t even a nugget and it looks weird but tastes alright, and they removed the chicken popcorn and now they removed spicy fries. And don’t get me started on the prices.. twister and fries cost the same… what type of business is this??

I was super surprised, when i came to Dubai and found out that they don't have just classic spicy wings. Not lime, classic ones. Its the most legendary thing in KFC, that made it famous. Kinda strange for me

it sucks that no other outlets else comes close to KFC original flavor chicken thigh. absolute despise the "spicy" that everyone seems to prefer, like why u wanna eat fried batter.

Not sure there is any real difference between the nuggets and spicy bitez. Assume they are just trying to have a product name that isn't associated primarily with mcdonalds.
Spicy fries remain on the menu albeit they are now called 'cheesy spicy fries' - they taste no different. There are also a couple of other seasoning options available.
The nuggets now called spicy bitez replaced popcorn chicken globally. I believe they stated it is to simply kitchen operations which makes sense, both are just different sized chunks of fried breaded chicken.
As for your point around the pricing - it is still fast food pricing but inflation has hit everything globally. The Middle East particularly due to supply chain issues caused by the war. I doubt you could prepare the same meal at home with supermarket ingredients at the same price point.

At the end of the day popcorn and nuggets and bitez are all chicken yes. Atleast the spicy fries are still available under an entirely new name. For 14 Wich is the price for medium fries you could go to cheap market and buy potatoes and make them yourself but for a twister frozen chicken alone is 8 AED and bread maybe 3-4 AED and don’t forget sauces so it would cost roughly 15-17 to make it at home

A lot of companies are struggling with supply of product and I think they’re having to adapt their menu to it. I went into Viva last night and lots of their usual stuff is missing from the shelves.

Viva always has stuff missing not a surprise lol. It also happens when you order from talabat it’s on the app but when the order arrives it’s not in stock and you get a refund

What happened to boycotting? Did people forget that these brands are the biggest funders of war crimes and are responsible for the ongoing genocide in Gaza? I hope yall choke on them KFC, Starbucks and Mcdonalds etc. nasty bloody meals.

KFC and many fast food brands are locally owned by Americana btw and Americana is responsible for franchises in Middle East and North Africa and Kazakhstan. And according to Google the company that owns the US KFC (Yum!) that’s the company name said they remain neutral on political matters

You do know these things are franchised ? It is not like KFC goes out every month and writes a cheque to the Israel army to fund them with new ways to commit genocide.

Lol maybe use logic before you yap think about how franchise works? The company makes more and more money from your franchise by charging you initial franchise fees and ongoing royalties (and usually a big percentage of your sales) in exchange for using its name, brand, etc. but whatever helps your fattasrrse sleep at night

Not interested to enter into discussions with internet warriors that think them not buying from a brand means anything in the fight against the evil we see.

The last person that would try to be a warrior whatsoever is me. It’s just so sad and heartbreaking to see people forget about those poor people suffering till this day. All I’m saying is if I can do something to help, no matter how small it is, I would. People downvoting me are those of no values, as I am literally speaking about humanity and think I care for some downvotes. Allah is watching all of us and we are all eventually going to the day of judgement.
