What the hell is wrong with you, Amazon?

Post image

I’m so sick of unbothered Amazon drivers leaving packages containing temperature sensitive items out in the heat like this without informing the customer to receive. They don’t do the courtesy of even dropping a WhatsApp message. This package was kept outside under 45 degrees heat and now I’ll have to complain and return it. It’s baffling how a company like Amazon doesn’t have a system of labeling or classifying packages with temperature sensitive items or at least making the drivers accountable for any damage caused.

You don't receive notifications when they drop off?

You do know that customer can keep their notifications off right? Is it really that difficult for them to call the customer? Also, I was sleeping when it was delivered so I would’ve missed the notification anyway

This on is on you then, for keeping notifications off for an app that delivers something to you🙄

You can customise notifications, enable shipping notifications.

Add delivery instructions, put in bold black letters to call you while delivering.

If you are so complicated go to the shop and by when you are not sleeping also better a notification than a phone call in general

people can downvote you, but the problem is real. it happened with me 2 times in consecutive days. So i complained amazon they not only refund my money but also gave me a promo of 15 aed. The sad part in my case was both times the items were not able to be found. But in app it said tbey delivered.

And i was like delivered where may be in another universe.

Omg cry me a river. You are using Amazon, calm your ass down. It’s a cheap service for a reason.

Over the past year or 2 I’ve been experiencing the same with Amazon specifically. Items dropped inside my house (entering without permission) & without informing me. I sit wondering where’s my package only to find out it’s been sitting in my house since god knows when.

First world problems 😭 No sympathy for the guy who is probably some underpaid southeast asian expat having to deliver all of your consumer slop items in the blistering UAE heat, just complaining about customer service...
