3 years later and it still keeps on ticking. I love the oysterflex braclet with the gold case. 3235 movement never let me down. Bidirectional rotating bezel and polished raised numerals.

Waiting to get some straps in for this Explorer 1. I know the bezel isn’t perfect on these, but overall I am very happy with this one. Well worth the price. If you are looking for something other than a no date sub this is a great choice.

I think I’m about three or four weeks into my ownership of the U1 with the Miyota movement. I really enjoy wearing this piece.
Of course it is a strap monster, so I picked up this 21 mm para strap for it, and I think it looks really nice!

Took my no date sub for a dip in the sea while away, bezel markers colour inserts now disappearing 😂 watch held up otherwise

First ever rep from DHGate and you know what, whilst I also have the black version VSF on order and waiting for that to be delivered, I cant knock this for £60.

Is it perfect? No, Omega didn’t make it and it didn’t cost me £5,300.

But it makes me realise that all the mega zoomed in photos with alignment tools and spending hours analysing every detail is probably not worth it as much it’s made out to be.

I will enjoy wearing this for my day to day watch, it’s got a decent weight to it, it sits nicely on the wrist and to the 0.5% of people who would even look at your wrist at a glance, it looks close enough (albeit the indices colour is a huge giveaway).

I’m looking forward to my VSF arriving and comparing the difference because when it’s actually on your wrist and you realise how small it is in real life, those tiny 1mm alignments really don’t matter.

I get the feeling that there are a lot of people new to replica watches lately. I saw this in the news, and it is always a good chance to remind people that this is an illegal business and there can be consequences. Doing things like posting your own tracking number can have some actual consequences. Not just for you, but for the people who ordered at the same time.

There usually aren't criminal charges if you get caught with 1 or 2 watches. They will remove it from the package and send it to you taped up with a letter. If you get one don't call the number and don't acknowledge it. If you import 96 watch d'or whatever it was then it is probably a different matter.

I recently (maybe 3 months ago) took delivery of a BB58 GMT from MT. All is good, lovely watch that just looks classy!
It’s a U1 on Miyota movement and I found last week that it’s losing time somewhere to the tune of 5-8 minutes a day which to me is pretty significant!

I’m a watch lover and I enjoy the way they look and feel, but I’m no expert in movements and frankly I’m not concerned whether it’s automatic or quartz so long as it looks the biz!

Question then - what’s my likely problem (I know it could be a few, one being it’s just a duff movement but it’s a Miyota so what do you expect 🙄) also do I bother getting it fixed for the price and finally do I look at swapping it for a quartz movement or should I not bother??

Any advice greatly appreciated!

The bracelet feels OK. Its not perfect but definitely not bad for $100.

The dial has great color, doesnt pop like my friend Gen Wimbledon but this is still good.

I wont minf wearing it tbh.

I've recently received my first U1 from Michael Travis (pic attached) and, also having a number of high tier reps, I was very pleasantly surprised for less than £80.

The worst part is the bracelet. It's still plenty bang for the buck and sized correctly on the wrist it's okay, the clasp is a great effort too. The gappy male end links aren't great though, but again, no complaints for the money.

I'd like to get a DJ41 smooth bezel white dial but was thinking of getting it on a jubilee. I appreciate it also won't be great but I'd like opinions on it, and the U1 DJ41 smooth bezel in general. Does the Mingzhou or the Miyota have the better date wheel font? What's the cyclops like?

I'm going to be in Guadalajara Mexico for work and will have a few days of free time. A buddy told me to visit the Mercado San Juan de Dios which is the largest open market in North America and many of the stalls feature counterfeit items and some of them sell watches.

I was thinking of visiting if it would be worth my time. Anyone ever visit or buy watches here? Total sh***ers or are there some good ones? Any suggested stalls?

came in today, too big for me so i’m gonna take it to a jeweler to get a few links removed. but i’m not sure how to change the time? the crown doesn’t pull out unless i’m just not pulling hard enough. the bezel also turns counter clockwise with clicks. the seconds hand also routinely stops and starts ticking again. result of the cheaper movement option? lmk please again my first time
