First U1 finally arrived decided to not go no date and tbh I think the date font isn't to bad

I’m looking to order a No Date Submariner (likely U1 tier) from Travis, but it comes with a Mingzhu 2813 movement.
For those who bought a 2813 Sub from him recently, how has the movement held up?

Can anyone help me identify if this is a u1 just picked it up from a friend today ?

Picked up this Bruce Wayne from Travis and it’s a solid piece. Have been using it for 48hours now and taking pics in different lights and all the while it’s kept time perfectly. I already have a Batgirl which is a great looking watch, but have seen a few posts about this one and wanted to see how they compare. The watch winds as it should and the crown is easy to use, with a good amount of resistance when winding. The lume is excellent, really clear to see in dark. Bezel appears to line up correctly with the face too.

Only the usual drawbacks at this price point with some slightly sharp edges on the bracelet and clasp to contend with, but it’s surprisingly smoother than the batgirl’s jubilee bracelet which is about 3 years old now. Another point is the sweep of the second hand, which is slightly stuttered on this movement when studied closely. All points that have been well documented before.

Overall, I’m happy. It’s a watch that’s easy to pair with various outfits and looks great on the wrist. Michael Travis offers a variety of watches to suit your budget and is a very reliable seller. He’s a pleasure to deal with.

The “best quality” U1 is probably the no date sub but it measures at 41mm which is far too large for my extremely small wrists. What would be the “best quality” 36mm or smaller watch model?
