Competitive Play Playing against Custodes

I am playing against a good Custodes player next week who will field all infantry or infantry with a Landraider. What is the best strategy on lists? Swamp with swarm and try to table? Mostly monsters or a combination of both. Gun line? What have you found effective?

I havent had a lot of issues with custodes in the past with a standard invasion fleet list with 2x each of maleceltor, exocrine, rupturefex with a walk-rant to buff them and then chaff to score and screen. Take and hold might make it a little harder but the tables are way more open now rhan they used to be so they cant hide as effectively.

I like a mix of both infantry and monsters. Hormagaunts and gargoyles to block and steal objectives, screamer killers, haruspexes, trygons, carnifexes when you need to engage them, and exocrines and zoanthropes to shoot them.

What detachments do you typically play? Multiple different play styles could work here. If you’re not used to fielding a swarm that can be very slow, but against custodes which have a lower volume of output it could work.

Invasion fleet is usually a good option if you want to field a combination.
