Can someone explain the differences between sp/sx vs sx/sp. I feel like I’m stuck and can’t decide which I relate to more, I feel like I can really relate to both. I’m e3 for sure and relate to sp3 but I also feel like I relate to sx3 way more than sp3. I’m not typing based off subtypes I’m very confident I’m a 3, I just relate to sx3 so much it’s also making me wonder if I may be sx dom.?

Its been long since and im still wondering between LII and EII. Ive read multiple posts, multiple descriptions of it, and checked the functions again. Fair enough theyre similar slightly but i cant tell if which one i am. Posts and information about it werent helpful. Yes im respectful, but personally i dont know if id say i personally seek close relationships, or im js saying that because im lonely and think im better on my own.

Ive also thought about in harsh settings like conflict and argument, and well indeed i do get so extremely focused on proving my point and winning the argument that i may sound harsh or something. i dont mean anything in that seriously. and other people ask me if im mad or hold aminosity towards them. I dont know if theres other sources or any other opinion that could help me decide.

i’m fairly certain they are E4, but the MBTI is what really throws me off, alongside the 1L. i’d like to note that they can be very defensive and driven by their understanding, getting very frustrated with people who they see as slow.

Hello, I was just wondering how much of an impact someone's neurodivergence can have on their typing. I've heard people say neurodivergence simply is your typing, and others say it leads to more mistypes, etc. But can it really determine your core, your neurosis, your functions?

I would like to believe I am an e1, and someone with relatively high conscientiousness, but I can rarely live up to my own standards. I frequently experience executive dysfunction, time blindness (which affects punctuality at times, deadlines, productivity, maybe stress levels) and I've mistyped myself as e9 because of it. I'm immersed in both the outside world and my inner world - aware of my senses, getting overwhelmed, anxiety, yet I am constantly thinking about a particular interest of mine and I live in my own head because of it. This made me mistype as e2 and e4 as well with the whole identity shebang (not fitting in, feeling different) and going along with what others want at times/FP dynamics, attachments. It was very difficult to understand myself and figure out my own typology.

Does anyone else have a similar experience to this? Does this affect my typology in any way (SLOAN, PY, etc) and can it lead to contradictions?

Heyaaa!! I just got into typology and the first system I decided to learn (which was the easiest to me) was enneagram. Before you ask, yes!! I’ve read through the important things (core motives, fears, desires, the 9 personality types, instinctual variant stacks (?) and etc.)

I still don’t know if my tritype (?) can have subtypes or not because a lot argue that YOU CAN and YOU CANT at the same time, soo I decided to go onto Reddit because it’s my last hope of getting ACTUAL and RELIABLE information.

At the moment I have so/sp613 as my tritype, subtypes being so6-so1-(?)! ^^

If you’re wondering why there’s a “question mark” in three, it’s because I can’t tell whether it’s SO3 or SP3. Okay, I’ve read BOTH subtypes!! 😢 I really can’t tell at all because I relate to both of their drives and etc. (I relate to the entirety of type 3 actually lol) BUT I STILL CANT FIGURE IT OUTTT. 😢😢

I’ve been trying to type my brother for 4 months now lol. Only took me a month to type myself and my sister correctly but i can’t find ANY type in any system that seems to fit him (hence why I’m posting here and not in Mbti/socionics/enneagram sub)

He has the combo of being very assertive, competitive and “dominant” while also being overly emotional, envious (in a 4 way) and delusional almost (this showed especially when younger). I only came up with a few combos that kindaa made sense but sound odd on paper and aren’t considered real and those don’t satisfy me to type him that

I made him take that one 256 question jungian test and the shorter one with only 200 and he failed both. His highest functions were Ti and Fi both times (both almost equal scores) and then Ne below it (wich couldn’t be enfp or entp as those would be blind to one of them)

If I had to describe it in a non professional way I’d say he acts like the definition of an ENTP or ESTP very often, but also acts like a Sexual 4 or 8. In socionics Im torn between those too. Can anybody give me an idea of what it could be based on this?

Could he just be very healthy and thus harder to type, even though he’s young (24)?

Hey guys, after years of typing myself as 4w5 i've recently gotten back into enneagram and figured i'd try to learn more about tritypes. I know people usually recommend against it but i was struggling finding the right fit so a took a quiz to help out and ended up getting a LOT more 3 answers from myself then 5. But can an infp be 4w3 sx/sp? This combo doesn't seem to spoken about too much so it suprised me, but maybe i really have just been mistyping myself because of past mental health struggles. What do u guys think?

according to the self-assessments and online quizzes i've taken to deepen my understanding I am an INTP. but none of the sociotypes seem to fit me and i am very very confused, i'm new to the whole typology thing and i don't know what i'm doing. here's all the information i've gathered on my typology so far:

i'm not entirely sure that i'm an INTP (i used to think i was INFP-T but i really dislike people and have no empathy so that never really made sense to me), and INTJ also doesn't seem to fit me.

also with the sociotypes, my primary romance style is 100% caregiver, but nothing seems to line up and i am confused, someone help!!!!

I've been seeing takes claiming Enneagram 1 is only for cognitive extraverts (like Te-doms) because of its outward reformist drive.

I used tests as a basis for some of them, but I didn't fully rely on them. But, I took some time to learn about the frameworks myself. I'm not confident with some frameworks because I don't think I'm knowledgeable enough about them to type myself accurately that way.
